Spotlight on Engagement - Breanne and Kale

A beautiful friend of mine got engaged last month and everything (including her ring) is absolutely perfect!

This double halo diamond covered double band is simply stunning and totally in style this year. It is for a bride who likes something with sparkle and isn't for the simple. Breeanne is a lucky girl for not just snagging a fantastic ring but also a fantastic guy!

Breanne & Kale's Story
Breanne and Kale are both originally from Brooks, Alberta. Although not friends growing up, they did know each other. They met up while at in college in Red Deer where he asked her out. They started dating May 21, 2011. Shortly after that, he moved back to Brooks and they did long distance, until Breanne had had enough and moved back to Brooks.

In April of 2012, they decided to buy a house together. They renovated it themselves and decorated it to their taste. Breanne describes it as perfect! After having the perfect house together, they decided to add their beloved wiener dogs Rolo and Reese. They are like their children. They are spoiled, have babysitters, the whole nine yards. It was so perfect that Kale included them in his proposal to Breanne.

It was a random Wednesday night, October 9, 2013. Breanne had gotten home later from work. Reese ran to the front door to greet her like she normally does, but she had something tied on her back. Kale had cut a heart out of foam paper, wrote will you marry me? on it, cut it in half and tied one half onto Reese and the other onto Rolo. The only problem was Rolo is slow and mellow, so he was far behind Reese. But Reese's heart had "will… marry" on hers so Breanne knew! Kale picked up Rolo and put his half heart next to Reese's. He got down on one knee, said her full name and asked "will you be my wife?" He said a lot of other cute stuff too, but of course it happened fast and she was so excited she can't remember!

Congratulations Breanne and Kale!
