Wedding Colour Wednesday: Fire Engine Red and Charcoal

This week's Wedding Colour Wednesday features a bright fire engine red and charcoal. Red is a popular colour for weddings, and instead of the traditional black a nice charcoal grey is used instead.

This simple and timeless colour palette is perfect for spring and summer. It is super classy, sexy and feminine. Red is a wonderful bold colour and the charcoal is a nice balance. It adds a softness to the boldness and compliments it nicely.

My favourite part about this colour palette is how it is not overwhelming. The red is incorporated as more of an accent to the charcoal and white, as opposed to being the main event. This works because of how bold the shade of red is. It keeps it from being overwhelming or too busy. The pop of red in the shoes and tie along with beautiful red roses is just the perfect amount of red!

Would you pick fire engine red?

Thanks to Grinvilla for these stunning photos!
