Wedding Colour Wednesday - Granny Smith Apple Green, Black and White

This week's Wedding Colour Wednesday features a contemporary and not so typical colour scheme: granny smith apple green, black and white.

This wedding colour is refreshing and cool. It is a simple palette with a splash of green in the ties, flowers and décor. This couple puts an interesting twist into it by dressing the groom in a white tie with a white shirt.

I love these colours for a spring wedding. It could be adapted for the fall as well, and you could add in some other apple colours like red and yellow. To avoid looking like Christmas, use one as the dominant colour and the other as the accent. Also, try to choose a red that is not the traditional Christmas red.

With one colour in this palette granny smith apple, it is a fun idea to incorporate apples into your meal and drinks, such as having apple martinis or apple pie.

If you like this palette but want to add a bit more colour, eggplant goes really well with these colours as well.
